Looking to take the next step in your events career?
Ready for a role that demands initiative, precision and genuine passion for comedy and live entertainment?
Want to join one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work?
If you thrive in fast‑paced environments, love being across the details, and want to help deliver outstanding live experiences, this could be your next move.
AEG Presents – the Touring, Festival and mid‑sized venue division of AEG – is searching for a Comedy & Entertainment Coordinator to support the development and delivery of comedy tours, Edinburgh Fringe shows, podcasts and other live entertainment projects.
This is a high‑volume, detail‑heavy role suited to someone who is naturally proactive, exceptionally organised, and already confident navigating the live entertainment ecosystem.
What You'll Be Doing
Tour Planning & Coordination
- Work with promoters to model and plan UK tours, sourcing venue availability across clubs, theatres, and arenas.
- Route tours and manage pencil holds at the direction of the Head of Department and promoters.
- Request and compile venue rentals, technical specifications and costs to support budgeting and tour modelling.
- Draft budgets where appropriate.
- Assist with setting up new venues and theatres on internal systems.
Sales, Data & Reporting
- Compare historical sales, offers and artist earnings to identify revenue trends and cost variances.
- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of sales figures for assigned shows.
On‑Sale, Marketing & Asset Management
- Coordinate on‑sale setups and share all key information promptly with marketing, ticketing and production teams.
- Support these teams through to show completion, overseeing marketing activity for select shows.
- Act as a liaison between artist teams and internal departments to collate, approve and distribute marketing assets and ticket links ahead of on‑sale.
Artist, Venue & Partner Relationships
- Maintain professional, positive relationships with artists and their teams throughout the full tour lifecycle.
- Attend shows where possible to build strong relationships with artists, agents and venue staff.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role and enjoy it, you'll bring:
- A demonstrable, genuine passion for live comedy, podcasts and/or entertainment. (If you don't already live and breathe this world, this won't be the right fit.)
- Solid understanding of the live entertainment industry.
- Experience in the live space, ideally across touring, marketing support or artist booking.
- Strong organisational and administrative experience, preferably within entertainment.
- Skilled use of IT tools including Canva, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- The ability to manage a busy, varied and constantly shifting workload with accuracy and composure.
Please note: This role involves high levels of administration, time‑sensitive coordination and frequent changes. If you enjoy structured predictability or prefer a lower‑volume workload, this role may not be for you.
If you're excited by the challenge, passionate about live entertainment and motivated to deliver exceptional events, we'd love to hear from you.
Where: You'll be based at our head office in Blackfriars, a short walk from Southwark Tube station or Blackfriars Station. We offer flexible start and end times and currently work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely. We welcome flexible working conversations.
