Join us at Indigo at The O2 as an Assistant Production Manager, supporting the delivery of outstanding live events in one of the UK's most iconic venues. You'll help supervise and coordinate contracted production companies, staging, seating and labour provision, ensuring every show runs smoothly.
What You'll Do
Technical & Event Delivery
- Support the Production Manager across all aspects of the technical operation
- Act as a key technical point of contact in the Production Manager's absence
- Ensure event technical requirements are clearly communicated and delivered
- Manage and meet the technical expectations of hirers
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with sound, lighting, video, stage and labour contractors
- Communicate technical schedules, costs and requirements effectively
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
- Promote effective teamwork across departments
- Deliver consistently high levels of customer service
- Identify opportunities to improve personal, team and business performance
Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation
- Promote safe working practices in line with company policies
What We're Looking For
- Experience in at least one technical discipline, with working knowledge of sound, lighting, video and stage equipment used in live events
- Strong understanding of the capabilities and limitations of production equipment
- Experience with MS Office
- Proven labour and time management skills
- Awareness of the music touring business and key industry stakeholders
- Flexible approach to working hours, including late shifts and weekends
- Commitment to delivering professional, high‑quality live events
