We're looking for an Assistant Production Manager to support the delivery of live shows at Indigo at The O2. This role focuses on on-site event delivery, working closely with production contractors across sound, lighting, video and staging.

This is a venue-based role — ideal for someone experienced in live music, touring or event production environments.

What You'll Do

Live Event Delivery

  • Support the Production Manager with the day-to-day technical delivery of live events
  • Act as the on-site technical contact in the Production Manager's absence
  • Ensure event requirements are clearly understood and delivered on show day

Technical Coordination

  • Work closely with contractors across sound, lighting, video, staging and labour
  • Communicate technical schedules, requirements and costs between all parties
  • Ensure production elements are delivered within venue capabilities and constraints

Stakeholder & Hirer Management

  • Manage expectations of promoters and hirers on-site
  • Provide clear, practical solutions to technical queries and challenges

Team & Ways of Working

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams across the venue
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive working environment
  • Look for opportunities to improve how we deliver events

Health & Safety

  • Follow all health and safety requirements and safe working practices
  • Support a safe working environment for all crew and contractors

What we're looking for

  • Hands-on experience in live events, touring or venue-based production (essential)
  • Experience in at least one technical area (sound, lighting, video or staging), with a good understanding of how they work together in a live environment
  • Practical understanding of production equipment capabilities and limitations in a venue setting
  • Experience coordinating contractors and managing event timelines on-site
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, live environments where plans can change quickly
  • Knowledge of the live music or events industry
  • Basic MS Office skills
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends
