Join the Security team at The O2 as Senior Control Room Operator and play a key role in delivering world-class events.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver a professional control room service, ensuring health, safety, and security SOPs are maintained
  • Support emergency procedures and assist the Duty Security or Venue Manager during major incidents
  • Demonstrate sound decision-making and effective incident management during live operations, escalations, and emergency situations
  • Operate and supervise all control room systems
  • Manage the Security Operations Control Centre (SOCC) team, identifying training needs and developing staff
  • Ensure compliance with CCTV legislation, UK GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018
  • Oversee admin and reporting quality control
  • Contribute to the wider Security Strategy 

What We're Looking For

  • SIA CCTV Operator license and relevant control room experience
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to high standards and visitor care
  • Proven experience supervising and motivating teams in a fast-paced operational environment, supporting internal staff and service providers
  • Ability to stay calm, patient, and empathetic under pressure
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft 365 (e.g. Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience handling radio and telephone communications

Where: You'll be based at The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX. This role is shift based and will include nights and weekends.
