Are you looking to further your career within a People & Culture setting?

Want to work for a company named in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2024?

Are you confident, resilient, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment? This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on with Employee Relations and wants to make a real impact by supporting managers and shaping a positive employee experience.

As a People Advisor, you'll be the go-to expert for ER matters—managing a high volume of cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and family leave. You'll need to be comfortable handling similar types of issues regularly, but each situation brings its own challenges and opportunities to coach managers and influence outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide generalist HR support and help deliver the People Strategy.
  • Own and manage ER cases—disciplinary, grievance, absence, family leave, and performance management—escalating complex matters when needed.
  • Coach and train managers to confidently handle difficult conversations and prevent issues from escalating.
  • Support HR projects around engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing.
  • Champion our company values and help embed them into everyday processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Solid HR experience in a fast-paced environment—hospitality, retail, or guest services preferred.
  • Proven experience managing complex ER cases.
  • Resilient and comfortable working in an environment where ER is a big part of your day.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills.
  • Confident communicator who can coach managers effectively.
  • Flexible, calm under pressure, and committed to getting things done.
  • Good understanding of UK Employment Law.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of Employee Relations and wants to make a real difference by supporting managers and shaping a positive employee experience. If you're pragmatic, resilient, and thrive in a role where you're the trusted advisor for challenging situations, we'd love to hear from you.

We'll give you a thorough induction on how we work at AEG. Our induction and onboarding programme is a great way to meet other new starters and to learn about our culture and values. We will give you training in our systems, policies, and procedures so that you'll be set up for success. From the moment new employees join us, they're welcomed with open arms and a plethora of exciting perks. Not only can they choose a free show and to climb The O2, but we also ensure that our employees are continuously engaged and rewarded throughout their journey with us.

Where: You'll be based at our head offices in Blackfriars, but you will also travel to our other venues and offices when required. We work 4 days in the office and 1 day remotely. We offer flexible start and end times and also welcome flexible working conversations.
