As Parking Operations Manager at The O2 you will manage our car parking and logistics contracts and work with local authorities and government agencies on all transport related matters. 

What you'll be doing:  

  • Strategic Planning: Coordinate with service contractors to develop detailed work plans that align with business needs, ensuring smooth operations for both routine and special projects.
  • Resource Optimisation: Expertly source labour, materials, and services following company protocols to maximize value and maintain project momentum.
  • Compliance Champion: Guide your site team to excel in following commercial policies, maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
  • Communication Hub: Represent your department in contract meetings and provide comprehensive minutes to leadership.
  • Commercial Excellence: Partner with your Head of Department to create and monitor annual plans that drive outstanding financial results.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Create compelling progress reports with accurate cost analysis and forecasting to inform strategic decisions.
  • Relationship Builder: Establish proper commercial frameworks with contractors to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Risk Navigator: Proactively manage potential challenges through systematic risk assessment and control implementation.

What we're looking for:

  • Contract management: Proven track record in contract management with exceptional attention to detail
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong command of contract conditions, employment law, risk management, and comprehensive cost control
  • Procurement Expertise: Experience guiding vendors through qualification and bidding processes
  • Safety Conscious: IOSH Certification demonstrating commitment to workplace safety
  • Adaptable Professional: Willingness to adjust schedule as projects demand
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient with essential business software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Where: You'll be based at The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX. We offer flexible start times and welcome flexible working conversations. We work onsite 4 days a week and remotely 1 day a week. This role will include working some evenings and weekends.
