Join the Production team at The O2 as Head of Technical & Production and play a key role in delivering world-class events.

What You'll Do

  • Build Strong Relationships
    • Work closely with event promoters and clients, ensuring all contractual commitments are met.
  • Lead Technical & Production Delivery
    • Manage all technical and production aspects of events, following licensing rules and house policies.
  • Plan & Allocate Resources
    • Schedule events, allocate resources, and oversee all production areas within The O2 Arena.
  • Ensure Compliance
    • Keep licences, SOPs, risk assessments, and statutory inspections up to date and aligned with the Premises Licence.
  • Manage Budgets
    • Set, forecast, and manage departmental and CAPEX budgets.
  • Oversee Contracts & Procurement
    • Lead tenders and manage contracts for crew, rigging, and show electrical services, ensuring KPIs and commercial benefits.
  • Collaborate Across Teams
    • Work closely with the Head of Venue Operations to maintain and improve service quality.
  • Develop Training
    • Plan and maintain training for the department and suppliers.

 What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in technical and production management for large-scale events.
  • Rigging experience in entertainment, stadia, festivals, or arenas.
  • Membership of PLASA or similar professional bodies.
  • Relevant licences (e.g., NRC, Forklift Truck, IPAF).
  • Strong financial management and commercial awareness.
  • Solid health and safety background (NEBOSH General Certificate).
  • Hard-working, ambitious, and goal-driven.
  • Excellent service delivery track record.
  • Resilient and confident decision-maker.

Where: You'll be based at The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX. We offer flexible start times and welcome flexible working conversations. We work onsite 4 days a week and remotely 1 day a week. This role will include working evenings and weekends.

Interviews will take place w/c 12 January 2026.
