As General Manager, you'll lead the operations of this exciting new venue, ensuring every event is exceptional and every guest experience is unforgettable.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Financial Leadership
    • Full responsibility for P&L, annual budgets, and performance targets
    • Drive revenue growth across all streams, including sponsorship and ancillary income
  • Operational Excellence
    • Deliver best-in-class guest experience, venue management, and production
    • Oversee contractors and ensure smooth event delivery
  • Partnership & Content Development
    • Build strong relationships with promoters, sponsors, and stakeholders
    • Support with content development across music, comedy, and sports
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a high-performing team
    • Ensure staff training meets AEG's best-in-class standards
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Maintain a safe environment and meet all licensing, health & safety obligations
    • Oversee security and building infrastructure with Facilities teams
  • Sustainability
    • Work with AEG's sustainability team to reduce energy consumption and carbon footprint

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience managing events in a high-profile venue
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on empowering teams
  • Track record of delivering successful events and P&L results
  • Excellent industry network and negotiation skills
  • Experience liaising with licensing bodies, emergency services, and government agencies
  • Solid background in security, health, and safety management

Where: You'll be based at the venue in Olympia. You will need to be available to work evenings and weekends at events.
