Bring unforgettable moments to life. As our Front of House Manager, you'll be at the heart of the action—leading our bars, merchandise, security and stewarding teams to deliver outstanding experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do
Venue & Event Operations
- Support the smooth running of all Front of House operations, working closely with the General Manager and Venue Management team.
- Play a key role in the event planning process—meeting promoter needs, upholding licensing requirements, managing staffing levels and controlling costs.
- Deliver shows and events from start to finish, including client liaison, staff pre‑booking, onsite management, event reporting and settlements.
- Step in as Duty Manager when required, including acting as a licensee for the venue.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, motivate and inspire a strong and confident Front of House team.
- Ensure all staff receive high‑quality training using AEG's central modules and daily briefings.
- Promote an inclusive culture that values Equality & Diversity.
- Recruit new Front of House team members and nurture a positive team dynamic.
Bar, Merchandise & Financial Management
- Oversee all bar, merchandise, security and stewarding operations with strong commercial awareness.
- Take accountability for bar stock, including ordering, regular stock checks and communicating results to the Deputy General Manager.
- Manage all financial and budgetary responsibilities across bars, cloakroom and merchandise, including cash and card reconciliation.
- Act as liaison for visiting organisations connected to your operational areas.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all FOH staff meet health and safety requirements and follow all policies, procedures and risk assessments.
- Conduct nightly briefings and ensure a safe and seamless guest journey throughout the venue.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a high‑footfall, guest-facing role within live events or entertainment.
- A strong background in managing bar teams and leading operational staff.
- Previous experience in a high-profile venue or similar environment.
- Confidence in developing and managing budgets.
- Ability to motivate teams and deliver world‑class guest experiences.
- A valid personal alcohol licence.
- Willingness and ability to work unsocial hours (as expected in live events).
- Recognised safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH Managing Safety, Risk Assessment, Crowd Safety)—or willingness to complete training provided.
- Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends as part of a busy live events schedule.
