Want to join an employer recognised as one of The Sunday Times' Best Places to Work?

This is your chance to join AEG Global Partnerships, the award‑winning team behind some of the most innovative and high‑impact brand partnerships in live entertainment. Known for creating customised, world‑class marketing programmes, AEG Global Partnerships represents an unrivalled portfolio of sports, music, event, venue, ticketing and digital assets globally.

You'll be joining one of the most respected rights‑holder sales operations in the industry, known for unmatched global events, unparalleled service and memorable brand experiences.

The Role

We're looking for a Director, Sales to join us on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract at The O₂ — Europe's most successful entertainment venue. You'll help drive new business, unlock meaningful commercial opportunities and deliver best‑in‑class partnership solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.

What You'll Do

  • Build and grow new business relationships at senior marketing levels (Marketing Director and CMO), leveraging established brand networks.
  • Shape and deliver a successful sales strategy across the UK venue portfolio, meeting and exceeding personal and team targets.
  • Lead the full business development process—from cold outreach to contract negotiation—and ensure smooth handover into partnership management.
  • Develop and maintain a strong client pipeline using insight‑driven, consultative and targeted marketing approaches.
  • Identify untapped industry sectors, stay ahead of market insights and capitalise quickly on new opportunities.

What We're Looking For

  • A background in consultative sponsorship sales with complex, marketing‑led solutions. Experience in music or entertainment is a bonus but not essential.
  • Exceptional stakeholder and relationship‑building skills, with confidence in influencing senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to close multi‑year deals ranging from six to seven figures annually.
  • Strong listening and communication skills paired with high emotional intelligence.
  • A proactive, highly organised individual who excels at managing time and prioritising effectively.
  • A strategic thinker who spots wider commercial opportunities—and a tactical seller who knows how to convert them.
  • A collaborative, positive team member committed to continuous improvement and delivering best‑in‑class outcomes.

Why This Is an Exceptional Opportunity

  • Work with one of the world's most respected sales teams, known for building partnerships around the biggest entertainment and sporting moments.
  • Be part of an employer recognised for excellence, including The Sunday Times' Best Places to Work 2024 and Most Inspiring Workplaces 2025.
  • Join an innovative, purpose‑driven organisation shaping the future of live entertainment and creating iconic brand moments that fans will never forget.
  • Collaborate with brilliant, passionate colleagues in a culture that celebrates creativity, ambition and impact.

Where: You'll be based at The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX. We offer flexible start and end times and currently work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely. We are open to flexible working conversations.
