What You'll Do
As Deputy Production Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring events at The O2 run safely, smoothly and spectacularly. You will:
- Support the delivery of world‑class events across the arena and our special event spaces.
- Help run the production operation, ensuring everything is safe, efficient and ready for showtime.
- Provide technical and production advice to internal teams and external partners.
- Assist with creating event plans that meet venue H&S procedures and comply with legislation.
- Act as Duty Manager for the Production department on rostered events.
- Deputise for the Production Manager and support wider departmental activities.
What We're Looking For
You'll succeed in this role if you bring:
- Strong understanding of rigging plots and technical show requirements.
- Experience in production or technical roles within live events, venues, theatres or festivals.
- Hands-on experience working with rigging and staging.
- Confident coordination of contractors and production teams to deliver event builds on time.
- The flexibility to work varied hours — including evenings, late nights and weekends — to support major events.

Where: You'll be based at The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX. You'll need to be able to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota, this includes working late nights for load outs/ins and weekends.
