Corporate & Special Events Manager - fixed term contract until January 2028

We're looking for a Corporate & Special Events Manager to join AEG Presents on a fixed-term basis, helping deliver exceptional corporate and special events across indigo at The O2 and Watford Colosseum.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate & Special Events, you'll play an important role in growing our events business. From handling enquiries and securing bookings to building client relationships and delivering seamless events, you'll help create outstanding experiences while supporting the commercial success of two unique venues.

This role is based across both venues, with a minimum of one day per week spent at each location, depending on business needs.

What You'll Be Doing

Driving Event Sales

• Manage venue hire enquiries, build relationships with prospective clients, and create tailored proposals that help secure new business.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue across indigo at The O2, Watford Colosseum, and the wider AEG venue portfolio.

Managing Client Relationships

• Act as a key contact for clients, agencies, and partners, delivering a professional and seamless experience from enquiry through to event delivery.
• Build long-term relationships that encourage repeat business, referrals, and brand loyalty.

Delivering Exceptional Events

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of corporate and special events, working closely with venue teams to bring client requirements to life.
• Provide on-site support to ensure events run smoothly and consistently exceed expectations.

Growing the Business

• Represent the venues at industry events, networking opportunities, and client showcases to build awareness and develop new connections.
• Contribute ideas, research, and commercial initiatives that help drive future growth and enhance the customer experience.

Supporting Commercial Success

• Maintain accurate booking records, sales activity, and event reporting to support business planning and decision-making.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to support forecasting, commercial performance, and the continued success of both venues.

What we're looking for

• Experience in a sales or events role within a fast-paced venue, hospitality, entertainment, or live events environment.
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience supporting budgets, forecasting, or financial performance.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a proactive approach to developing business opportunities.
• Organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Positive, professional, and solutions-focused, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Comfortable presenting ideas, sharing recommendations, and collaborating with a range of stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Where: You'll be based at indigo at The O2, and will need to work at least one day a week at Watford Colosseum. We work four days in the office and one day from home. We offer flexible start and end times and welcome flexible working conversations.
