Want to work for a company recognised as one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work?

Join us at British Airways ARC, one of London's newest live event venues, and help deliver unforgettable guest experiences at world‑class shows.

As a Bar Supervisor, you'll play a key role in keeping bar operations running smoothly during service. Leading by example on the bar and across the venue, you'll support your team during busy periods, uphold our service standards, and act as a go‑to person for operational issues during your shift.

If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy working with people, and can keep your cool under pressure, this is a great opportunity to step up and make an impact.

What You'll Do

Operations & Guest Experience

  • Deliver high‑quality bar service in line with ARC Bar Service SOPs, meeting service targets where possible.
  • Lead from the front behind the bar, maintaining speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable service and support the resolution of guest issues during service.

Supervising the Bar Team

  • Act as the first point of contact for bar staff during events and services.
  • Monitor staffing levels and deploy team members to ensure peak periods are fully covered.
  • Create a positive and inclusive team environment, supporting colleagues during high‑pressure moments.
  • Support training, induction, and ongoing development of bar staff, including POS and product knowledge.

POS & Cash Handling

  • Ensure correct use of POS systems, supporting staff with transactions, discounts, and vouchers.
  • Maintain accuracy across payments and reconciliation at end of shift.
  • Report wastage and escalate any unresolved issues to the Floor Manager promptly.

Standards & Compliance

  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
  • Operate in line with licensing laws and responsible alcohol service, including Think 25.
  • Support stock control processes and minimise waste, particularly with premium products.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience as a bartender or bar supervisor in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
  • Confident using POS systems, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Sound knowledge of licensing laws and responsible alcohol service.
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to resolve customer issues quickly and positively.
  • A hands‑on team player who supports colleagues and helps problem‑solve during busy services.
  • Naturally organised, proactive, and solutions‑focused.
