Outlet Shopping at The O2 are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to support the retail manager in the day to day running of Outlet Shopping.
You will:
- Developing positive relationships with the tenants to include:
- regular tenant meetings to understand trading performance locally and nationally, promotions, team changes, training, new lines / ranges coming in. Report back to the wider Management team at the weekly operations meetings
- liaison between the tenant and the marketing team to help promote any key activities on the website, social media, blogs / vlogs where appropriate
- review and understand tenant lease obligations and the Outlet operating and brand guidelines, including appropriate merchandising, pricing and signage standards and escalate any variations to the RM.
- Be committed to the customer service excellence that AEG aspires to at The O2 and contribute to, and support any measures and outcomes that monitors and improves this
- Drive excellence in standards in all areas front and back of house, be it services, cleaning, security etc.
- Support the marketing team in the implementation of events and activities
- Assist with ensuring that the landlord and tenants comply with Health and Safety requirements
We're looking for someone who:
- With previous relevant experience of premium and /or Luxury retail markets either at full price or outlet with experience with concessions or partners
- Wants to make a difference through influencing and negotiating skills to drive best practise.
- Is analytical, commercial and numerate, with a good working knowledge of budgets and the ability to interpret reports
- Has strategic and operational experience – adopting a common sense, hands-on approach
- Has executive Diary management skills
- Can confidently place the customer in the centre of everything

Where: You'll be based at The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX.
You'll act as Duty Manager on a rota basis with the rest of the Management team to cover late nights and weekends. This is likely to be a minimum of one weekend and one week of late nights a month, as well as a fair share of Bank Holiday Duty Manager shifts (split between Management Team).
Note: Due to the nature of the Outlet there must be flexibility within working hours to have a regular presence at weekends, evenings, peak trade and for special events.
