AEG Presents – the team behind world-class tours, festivals and venues across Europe – has recently reopened Watford Colosseum, one of the UK's most exciting live entertainment spaces. We're looking for an Assistant Box Office Manager to join the team and help deliver an outstanding ticketing experience for every event.

What you'll be doing: 

  • Supporting the Box Office Manager with the day-to-day running of the venue's ticketing operation – from event confirmation right through to showtime.
  • Working with our ticketing partner AXS, becoming a go-to expert on the system and using it to deliver great results.
  • Supporting promoters with all aspects of their event ticketing.
  • Delivering excellent customer service before the show and on the night – from accessibility bookings to handling queries, compliments and complaints.
  • Assisting with casual staff on show nights and helping manage ticketing set-ups, presales, on-sales, allocations and reporting.
  • Making sure ticketing processes support both customer experience and sales, including maximising revenue opportunities.

What we're looking for:

  • Someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
  • Confident and personable, with great communication and people skills.
  • Comfortable with numbers, admin and reporting – detail matters here.
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Flexible, committed and willing to work evenings and weekends when shows are on.

Where: You'll be based at the venue in Watford. You will need to be available to work evenings and weekends at events.
